Yule River Project
The Yule River Project was a duplicate bridge/rail construction project carried out by JHG for BHP.
The new bridge to be constructed was approximately 250m long, contained dual carriage way and around 60 piles were driven during the dry season.
BHP being the end client have very strict policies and specifications that need to be adhered to. Below is a list, from this particular job, of requirements that were carried out by Asphar Survey:
- Bulk earthwork setouts
- Survey Personnel – required teams
- Survey Management
- Formation Setout
- Topographic Surveys
- Plant Control Systems
- Road and Culvert Construction Setout
- Determine lengths, areas and volumes of materials or products for measurements of works.
- Perform as-constructed survey to verify product conformity to drawings and specifications in relation to geometry, tolerances and three-dimensional position
- Methods and equipment utilised for the delivery of the requirements of the contract shall be suitable to ensure survey accuracy and precision exceeds the contract specification tolerances.
