Asphar Survey win PNG LNG Survey

Asphar Survey has been awarded a contract to perform a Bathymetric Survey as part of the $US285m Bam CLOUGH PNG LNG Load-out Jetty Project near Port Moresby.
The data obtained will form an integral part of the planning and construction for the Jetty and Berthing Basin for the Chiyoda JGC JV and ExxonMobil Project.

Geraldton House Purchase

Asphar Survey Group have purchased a 4 x 2 house in Geraldton at Sunset Beach which is located 5 minutes north from the city centre and approximately 15km from the Oakajee Project .

Technip Contract Win Macedon

Asphar Survey Group have won a contract to supply survey services to Technip for The BHP Macedon $1.8 Billion Project in Onslow Commencing 14th of January 2011.

Asphar Survey Group invested in Onslow by purchasing the best house to house its staff and to provide services for the project needs on a local basis, this business strategy has been carried out in Karratha, Exmouth, Geraldton and West Perth and has allowed us to provide better services for our clients needs and thus win further contract works.

Sino DeWatering Plant Contract Win

Sino Iron DeWatering Plant Contract Win

Asphar Survey has Won a Contract for Survey Services to Diab Engineering for the Citic Pacific Sino Iron DeWatering Plant at Cape Preston. Survey works included but not limited to the setout of 8 conveyors per building with there being  four buildings, totaling 32 Conveyors. There are also 4 external conveyors that are about 700m long. Asphar Survey will also carry out Control Verification, asconstruct existing steel work and civil footings before Survey Setout of conveyors and supporting infrastructure commences.

Carbon Neutral Contract Win

Asphar Survey has won a contract to survey land  planted for trees on rural properties across the WA agricultural area.

Carbon Neutral employs licensed surveyors to survey land planted for trees on rural properties across the WA agricultural area. This is required to prepare a Deposited Plan of the planted land in order that we may lodge a carbon right and carbon covenant protecting the planted land with Landgate.

The survey of the land takes place between September and October of each year.

Carbon Neutral is a Western Australian not for profit organisation. Who assist householders and businesses to measure, reduce and offset greenhouse gas emissions and support conservation tree planting and revegetation projects.

 

Asphar Survey are in throughs of becoming a Carbon Neutral company and takes great moral pride in wanting a better future for generations to come.

Defence Recognised Supplier

Using our Leica Absolute Tracker (Metrology) equipment, Asphar are able to assist with the alignment of propellor shafts and periscopes to help the submarines retain their “stealthy” function

Rail Track Trolley - New Purchase

Building on Asphar Survey’s history of involvement in rail alignment surveys, we are updating our track measurement equipment to include the latest from Amberg.

Previous rail projects which have been carried out,  include 47 Gantry Crane Rail alignments, Wharf C and D Shiploader rail alignments for BHP Rapid Growth Projects, survey of rail bridges for John Holland and MLJV for the 220 km rail duplication.

The Amberg GRP5000 track trolley.

This system allows measurement of horizontal and vertical alignment, gauge, and superelevation of up to 30km per day to the highest accuracies.

The system incorporates laser scanning to provide tunnel profiling for clearance checking, and infrastructure pickup and detailing.

This enhances our ability to provide the best and most cost effective rail measurement capabilities. Asphar is using this technology for brownfields and greenfields projects for QR National, Cockburn Cement.

Asphar is looking to utilise this technology on future rail projects such as the Karara Rail Infrastructure Project, Australian Premium Iron Project, Oakajee Rail, FMG Rail expansions, Rio Tinto Rail Duplications, Perth Underground City Link.

Two Stop Dolphins, each 600 tonne, 17m high, and 16m diameter, being landed at Cape Preston.

The dolphins will take three days to fill with ballast.
