New Contract Won for MacMahon Leighton JV for the Construction of 12 Bridges for the BHP Billiton Rail Duplication

Asphar Survey is pleased to announce they have been awarded the contract to provide Survey Services to MacMahon Leighton JV for the Construction of 12 Bridges for the BHP Billiton Rail Duplication. The Project is located in the Pilbarra region of Western Australia’s  between Port Hedland and Newman extending over a 220km length of the 300km of rail duplication that has to be constructed. The Contract which Asphar Survey has won is expected to run for 12+ Months Starting from Late July 2009, MacMahon Leighton JV (MLJV) contract is for $500 million, the total cost of the RGP 5 project is expected to be valued at $7.2 Billion.
